Jeux de fous
video Jeux de Fous is a challenge that Paul-André Fortier would probably never have imagined if the Agora de la danse had not invited him to create a show specifically addressed to a teenage audience. The two main focuses of the Jeux de Fous project are creating a work specifically for a youth audience and giving a new generation of dancers the opportunity to participate on stage in this adventure.

Paul-André Fortier entrusted Ève Lalonde, Ivana Milicevic and Emmanuel Jouthe, when they were young graduated students from the dance department at the Université du Québec à Montréal, with the role of embodying these heroes of contemporary tales, at once fabulous, seductive and disturbing. He developed choreography based on vibrant and agitated body movements, inspired by the energy, strength and ambiguities of youth.

From its very first presentation in 1998 at the Agora de la danse in Montréal to its last in June 2002 at the Canada Dance Festival in Ottawa, a great deal of effort was invested in dialogue and discussion with the audience. In addition to performances, the entire Fortier Danse-Création artistic team was mobilized for workshops, discussion groups and public rehearsals, to further develop subsequent teaching projects.
