Paul-André Fortier is spending time in Quebec City this winter!
The choreographer will be teaching at l'École de danse de Québec from February 12 to 23,2018. A dedicated and experiences educator, Paul-André Fortier was on the faculty of l'Université du Québec
à Montréal (UQAM) from 1989 to 1999. The decade he spent at UQAM was an opportunity for him to encounter a dynamic new generation of dancers. Paul-André Fortier and his longtime collaborator
Ginelle Chagnon teach regularly in professional dance schools across the country.
While in Quebec City, he will be artist-in-residence at la Maison pour la danse, where he will be working on creating a solo for dancer Fabien Piché. In addition, Paul-André Fortier has proposed
two evenings of discussion on the theme of professionals in the creative arts, in association with Artère, développement et perfectionnement en danse contemporaine. These two events will take
place on February 15 and 20 at 5:30 pm at la Maison pour la danse.
